If your boat is on a trailer, we can tow it anywhere in the country for you

Choosing the right boat shipping company is very important. Showroom Transport is licensed, insured and bonded. Showroom Transport is registered with the federal government. It is extremely important to choose a boat moving company that does meet the Federal Highway Administration criteria.

 

If your boat is less than 8.6 feet wide and on a trailer, the shipment does not require any permits.

                                                                           If your boat is over 8.6 wide we will need permits to ship your boat. 

Permits per state average anywhere from $40.00 to $120.00.

It is safer for your boat to not have its cover on it. 

When shipping a boat, the cover tends to flap in the wind causing scuff marks on your boat. If there is a small rip in your boat cover, the wind will get inside and tear the cover causing more damage. If you have your boat shrink wrapped, make sure it's done by a top rated shrink wrapper because it will come apart in the wind.

Generally, it is safer to tow your boat with no cover or shrink wrap.
